01 Challenge
A2RL needed a premium immersive experience that could translate autonomous racing into a compelling public-facing VR product while also supporting high-profile demonstrations and media attention.
02 Approach
I led the VR product execution around race presentation, immersive viewing flow, interface clarity, and big-screen-style interaction moments so the experience felt closer to a next-generation motorsport product than a standard demo.
03 Execution
The build combined Unity-based VR interaction, race telemetry storytelling, multi-camera perspectives, and broadcast-style presentation design. The goal was to make autonomous racing understandable, exciting, and visually memorable for both public audiences and senior stakeholders.
04 Outcome
The project became the world's first autonomous Formula-1-style racing VR experience, was showcased at Yas Marina Circuit, received industry recognition for innovation, generated international media coverage, and was privately demonstrated to senior UAE leadership and members of the royal family.
